Preserving Swiss Culture and Traditions in Queensland
Boat Trip 27 Feb 22
Dear members,
Our Annual Boat Cruise is taking place on Sunday February 27, exploring the crystal blue water and white sands of Moreton Bay, Straddie or Peel Island, aboard the stylish ‘Lady Brisbane.’
If you’re interested in going on the cruise, we’ll need payment by Friday 4 February.
So far we are below the numbers required to go on the cruise, so if we don’t receive enough payments by then, we might have to cancel the cruise (those having paid would be refunded).
Please note, the Lady Brisbane is following the public health directives issued by Queensland Health and will need proof of COVID-19 vaccination (double dose) upon boarding the cruise for all persons over the age of 16.
What to expect on the day:
Enjoy a fabulous day swimming and snorkelling around the famous Tangalooma Wrecks, Horseshoe Bay OR Amity Point. Dolphins, Turtles and Dugongs are regularly encountered around these stunning Islands.
• The boat is anchored or moored in the best position, close to the beach at a gorgeous Island Paradise in Moreton Bay. Our destination will be either behind the Tangalooma Wrecks at Moreton Island, OR gorgeous Horseshoe Bay at Peel Island, OR fabulous Amity Point at Stradbroke Island. All provide excellent diving, snorkelling and exploring opportunities. Bring your inflatable floating rings, pool noodles, swimmers, snorkelling gear, sunscreen, hats and cameras!
